More under 25s recognise Justin Bieber lyrics than William Shakespeare lines

Their study found that 43 per cent of Brits under 25 were able to recognise Justin's lyrics while 38 per cent correctly picked out the playwright's lines. At the other end of the scale, only 12 per cent recognised ‘Strong reasons make strong actions', while 17 per cent correctly spotted ‘All that glitters is not gold' from The Merchant Of Venice as a Shakespeare quote.

In what may come to most as not-so-shocking-at-all news, it's been reported that kids these days are more familiar with Justin Bieber's lyrics than they are with Shakespeare's work.
